Tuna export value is forecast to reach US$1 billion in 2024, marking an 18 per cent increase compared to last year’s figure and solidifying the product''s role as one of Việt Nam’s key seafood exports.
Viet Nam’s tuna export revenue is likely to reach the target of US$500 million in 2018 after hitting $351 million in the first seven months of this year, while growth has been seen in the majority of markets.
Tuna exports are expected to increase by 8 per cent this year to US$524 million, according to the Viet Nam Association of Seafood Producers and Exporters.
